Barbara V. Pearce

Barbara V. "Bobbie" Pearce, 84, of Wavery, NY, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 31, 2023, following an extended illness. 

She was born on July 5, 1939, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Clarence and Emma (Scotton) Pearce.

Bobbie loved her family and spending time with them. One of her pleasures was taking care of loving her cat, Lillybell. She enjoyed gardening, all kinds of crafts, and puzzle books. Bobbie’s competitive nature was apparent when playing any kinds of cards and especially a game of Yahtzee.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Deborah Sandroni, brothers Clarence Pearce and Wade Pearce, and the father of her 3 sons Louis Sandroni.

Bobbie is survived by her son Ronald Sandroni, sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Connie Sandroni and Joseph and Tina Sandroni all of Waverly, NY, grandchildren Nicholas Sandroni, Angelo Sandroni, Sue Bostwick, Robert Bostwick, Natasha Washezen, Michael Washezen, Anthony Sandroni, Brittany Sandroni, Joseph Sandroni, Craig Westbrook, and Dillon Westbrook, several great-grandchildren, many

great-great-grandchildren, sister Marian (Sue) Pearce and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by many friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Following Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA. 

In keeping with Bobbie’s love of animals, especially cats, memorial donations may be made in her name to 194 Stray Haven, Shepard Road, Waverly, NY 14892.
