Barbara J. Johnson, 78, of Athens, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Robert Packer Hospital.

She was born on January 7, 1946, in Towanda, PA, the daughter of the late Wayne F. and Elizabeth M. (Beeman) Morningstar.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 46 years Carl E. Johnson.

Following Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services. The family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.

Burial will be in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY at the convenience of the family.
