Audrey J. (Baker) Bacon

Audrey J. Bacon, 76, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 27, 1947, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Charles Donald and Evelyn Betty (White) Baker.

Audrey loved being around her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed making wreaths and doing crafting. Audrey loved being around her horses, taking them on trail rides, and participating in parades.

She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Charles D. “Don” Bacon, sister Evelyn Collins, brothers Phillip “Corky” Baker, Ronnie Baker and Toby Baker.

Audrey is survived by her children Tanya (Kevin) Fletcher, Shannon (Damon) Cornish, and Charles “DJ” (Kathy Park) Bacon, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Trenna Anderson, Naomi (Henry) Croke, Nona (Roger) Giacomelli, and Irma (Ed) Casson, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special dog Rocco.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Audrey’s home on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 2:00pm at 118 South Hopkins Street, Sayre, PA. The family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
