Arthur "Art" LeRoy Wiles

Arthur “Art” LeRoy Wiles, 81, of Sayre, PA, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Robert Packer Hospital, following a brief illness.

He was born on May 15, 1944, in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Victor and Anna (Johnson) Wiles.

Art was a member of the Mercy and Sugar Creek Bands. He loved fishing but he also enjoyed hunting, and planting his garden.

He is predeceased by his grandson, Erik Wiles, Jr.

Art is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ruth (Seager) Wiles, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Crystal Wiles, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Dean Pruyne, son Erik Wiles, daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Dave Gratkowski, grandchildren, Trisha Wiles, Coty Lunn, Cameron Lunn, Evan Wiles, Tyler Wiles, Aaron Wiles, Zachary Wiles, Austin Gratkowski, and Sydney Gratkowski.

Following Art’s wishes, there will not be any services. The family is being cared for by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
