Arthur Johnson

Arthur Johnson, 77, of Athens, PA, passed away at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre on December 29, 2022.

He was born on June 2, 1945 in Sheshequin Twp., to the late Mahlon and Angie (Herman) Johnson.

Arthur worked at Agway for many years, prior to retiring. He enjoyed building dune buggies and woodworking.

He is predeceased by 4 sisters, 4 brothers, and his wife Martha (Bogart) Johnson.

Arthur is survived by his daughter Marie (Dawn) Iversen, grandson Gary (Robin) Wayman, great-grandchildren Taylor and Joe, sisters Lena Johnson Wohlschlag and Gladys Moon, brother George “Geo” Johnson, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat Scampers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1pm at the Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA with Pastor John Vargason officiating.
