Sue Rogers Obituary

Sue Rogers, 63, of Athens, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Robert Packer Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born on August 3, 1958, in Sayre, PA, the daughter of the late Luke and Catherine (Roberts) Rogers.

Sue was a free spirit but loved her family dearly. She especially loved her granddaughters and her nephew, Matthew, and spending time with them. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean, sea, and visiting Assateague Island. Her love for horses, lighthouses, and old ships began as a little girl and continued throughout her life.

She is predeceased by her brother, John Rogers.

Sue is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Jack and Valerie Reynolds, granddaughters; Zephyra and Zelda, her very special nephew; Matthew, and special niece Kristina Felt, and her sisters; Robin Hill and Mary Ferro, and special nurse and caregiver; Brittany Brown.

Honoring Sue’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date at her favorite spot, Assateague Island. The family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
