Leonard J. Saukas

Leonard J. Saukas, 68, Eagle Scout, Magician, and most of all a Loving Husband passed away on March 29, 2022.

Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Evelyn Saukas. Len is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Brian Luke, brothers and sisters-in-law Peter and Linda Saukas and Gary and Karen Saukas. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Melinda and Jason Kunzman, Kdee and Ryan Raflowski, Paul and Helene Saukas, Brian Luke, Thomas and Racquel Luke, Patrick Saukas, Aaron Saukas, great-nieces and nephews, and many friends in the community.

He is predeceased by his parents, Nancy and Peter Saukas and mother and father-in-law, Gennaro and Ethel Attanasio.

Pastor Tammie Veilleux will officiate Len’s Celebration of Life at the Erin Fire Station, 1464 Swartwood Hill Rd, Erin, NY, on Saturday, April 16 at 1pm. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Southern Tier Food Bank, 388 Upper Oakwood Avenue, Elmira, NY 14903, in the memory of Leonard Saukas.
