James A. “Jim” White, 65, of Athens, PA, passed away on March 28, 2022, at Robert Packer Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born on December 21, 1956, the son of the late Cecil “Zeke” and Dorothy (Leavenworth) White.
Jim was employed for over 20 years with Cargill Taylor Beef in Wyalusing. He was looking forward to retiring this year. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his dog companions, Jake and Gretchen.
James is survived by his siblings Jack (Joann) White, Jean White, Judy (Joe) Cady, and Jon (Cheryl) White, half-brother Roger White, nieces and nephews James (Vicki) White, Jennifer (Sean) McGuire, Trip (Christine) Cady, Joshua (Julie) Cady, Jessica (Todd) Rhodes, and Jodi White, 14 great nieces and nephews, his loving, faithful, and loyal companions Jake and Gretchen and many good friends.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremations Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
