He was born on December 13, 1960 in Sayre, PA the son of the late Robert and Joyce Robinson Cole.
Randy was a carpenter by trade and took great pride in his workmanship, and could easily be considered a “Jack of All Trades. “ He worked for Baltimore Builders, Webster Construction and Cole Construction and was currently employed with PJF Enterprises of Owego, NY as a Contract Carpenter. Randy was an avid hunter, enjoyed the outdoors, often spending the weekends mud racing. Fondly known as “Uncle Randy”, he was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends.
Randy was known for his high energy and go, go, go attitude which made it hard to keep up with him! After high school, driven by his need for adventure Randy hitchhiked across the country to California, turned right around, and came back. He said this was just something he had to do. This is how he lived his life, always with the desire of another adventure. In his work, he would climb framed buildings like a monkey and it was not uncommon for him to be seen running high above the ground across rafters. As a child, he often frightened his mom and aunts with his daredevil behavior and had countless scars from adventures gone bad over the years! However, this was him, and he would have it no other way.
