Elizabeth M. (Marshall) Gregory

Elizabeth (Betty) Marshall Gregory, 82, of Athens, PA, passed away on March 27, 2024 after a brief illness.  She was born on February 24, 1942 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Emily (Jirikovic) Marshall.  

Betty loved gardening, quilting and cooking and was an active member of the community through her years of volunteering at the Spalding Memorial Library.  

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Bob Gregory.  She is survived by her daughter, Cindy, son-in-law, Lloyd, and two granddaughters, Katie (Paul) Adams Balla and Madison Adams; brother John (Joan) Marshall; sister Frances (Dennis) Marshall-Nebiolo; and nieces, Melanie (Nate) Marshall Golden and Emily Nebiolo.   Additionally, she is survived by dear friends Cheryl Wheeler, Maria Layton, and Glen Tolbert.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 11 am at Tioga Point Cemetery at 803 North Main Street, Athens, PA.   Memorial contributions can be made in Betty's memory to Spalding Memorial Library, 724 South Main Street #1, Athens, PA 18810 or Bradford County Humane Society, US-220, Ulster, PA 18850.
